Ancestors Day is an annual event held in the fall to acknowledge and commemorate the contributions and achievements of individuals who have dedicated themselves and made sacrifices towards improving conditions within the African American community, past and present.

The youth of Community Empowerment Association participate in the event by discussing, singing, and performing acts that show their understanding of the importance of individual contribution and leadership that have paved a way for their own lives.
